A wonderful taste of what this coastline has to offer. Your morning starts with a guided kayak trip along the golden sandy beaches between Marahau and Stephens Bay,

checking out a Cormorant Nesting Colony, Sea Caves and the world famous Split Apple Rock. At picturesque Kaiteriteri Beach say goodbye to your guide as they deliver you to the Sea Shuttle team who will take you on a scenic boat cruise along the beautiful Abel Tasman foreshore, viewing fur seals on the way before disembarking at Bark Bay. Here you begin an unguided walk to Torrent Bay. The Sea Shuttle will pick you up again for the ride back to Marahau or Kaiteriteri.

Sail and Cruise

Sailing in the Abel Tasman National Park

Depart Kaiteriteri at 10:00am aboard a comfortable sailing catamaran to explore the southern end of the park.

Join the 1:00pm Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle from Anchorage and continue cruising north viewing fur seals on the way. Either stay aboard for the round trip to Totaranui returning to Kaiteriteri at 4.00pm, visit Awaroa Beach and Awaroa Lodge, or, walk to Tonga Bay for a 4.15pm*(*Peak Summer) pickup returning to Kaiteriteri by 5.15pm*(*Peak Summer). Free connecting bus transfers to Motueka and Marahau.

Sit back and relax as we depart from the picturesque Kaiteriteri Beach on a scenic cruise into the majestic Abel Tasman National Park. View world famous Split Apple Rock, fur seals, golden sands and crystal-clear waters of Torrent, Bark, Tonga, Awaroa and finally Totaranui beaches.

After arrival at Totaranui beach transfer to our coach and travel into wonderful Golden Bay. First stop is the Abel Tasman Memorial in Ligar Bay with great views over Tata Islands and Ligar Bay, then via Port Tarakohe and Pohara Beach your next stop will be Te-Waikoropupu Springs, the purest and clearest fresh water springs in the world. After your short walk through native bush to the springs we shall return and drive through the quaint township of Takaka to Anatoki Salmon where you will be able to catch your own Salmon and have it smoked to your taste. (Cost of Salmon and lunch not included) Then enjoy the scenic drive over the Takaka Hill. View the Valleys and panorama of the bays back to Kaiteriteri, Motueka and Nelson ending a fabulous day seeing the very best of the Abel Tasman National Park and Golden Bay.
